We are currently looking for a Field Engineering Intern in our New York, New York office. As a member of a collaborative Site Deployment team, the individual in this role will be an integral member of a site team within the Urban Rail Signaling segment. The intern will be involved in every aspect of the deployment scope – including overall project support, logistics support, testing & commissioning activities, as well as Revenue and Maintenance support.
This internship will last for 12 weeks from May to August.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting project logistics of signaling projects
Responsible for supporting field activities such as testing
Responsible for supporting site quality activities
Participating in internal project activities
Required Skills, Experience and Education:
Education:
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree, from an accredited college or university.
Majors:
Computer/Electrical/Mechanical or similar engineering degree is required (majors vary depending on location/position).
Experience:
Ability to understand basic project components and analyze schematics such as engineering drawings and specification, estimates, change orders, and schedules.
Great written and verbal communications skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to work well under deadlines
Availability:
Able to work full time hours (40 hours) for 12 weeks starting May 2021 – August 2021
Participation in the internship program requires that you are located in the United States for the duration of the internship program.
