 If you are a seasoned IT professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in Florham Park NJ, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our digital transformation strategy in line with the enterprise’s global solutions roadmap.  AS A DIGITAL AUTOMATION MANAGER, YOU WILL: 


  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to organize digital transformation priorities in alignment with the company’s broader strategic approach, standards and principles. 
  • Manage, support, oversee initiatives to reduce global system proliferation by migrating legacy solutions to common enterprise standards with emphasis on ERP systems. 
  • Lead, guide and support multiple workstreams through the design and implementation of targeted change strategies, globally, regionally and locally at a project level.
  • Understand cross functional requirements and bring perspective from several IT architecture domains (processes, applications, data, technology) into the solution design in support of global application portfolio rationalization. 
  • Provide processes, structures, and tools for respective project + program management.  
  • Lead team members, including 3rd party resources, to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of relative programs.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of related professional experience
  • Strong experience with full life-cycle business systems implementations, preferably ERPs, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • 3+ years demonstrated successful Project Management experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Approximately 20% travel, mostly in the US. Some international travel may be required

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • MBA
  • Experience with ERP solutions strong plus
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Collaboration experience with globally distributed teams a plus
