Function: Assumes responsibility for ensuring the effective and efficient support of the Business Banking process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Coordinates the workflow for Community Bankers by ordering and reviewing commercial bank document packages throughout the underwriting and closing process. Maintains adequate documentation to ensure compliance of bank policy with regards to proper collection of all necessary notations, forms, agreements, and signatures of commercial loan documents.

2. Communicates verbally or via email with commercial banking customers and all associated parties, both internal and external; including attorneys, title companies, and insurance companies involved in the loan closing process to resolve questions regarding information submitted during the underwriting process. Communicates with the borrower and all associated parties, both internal and external, to resolve outstanding issues regarding booked and closed loans.

3. Prepares, monitors, and maintains reports used for internal and external reporting purposes. The reports include, but are not limited to, commercial line of credit, credit card commitment, and letters of credit expirations and residential lot development.

4. Assists the Business Bankers with the tracking and completion of commercial loan documentation and financial exceptions.

5. Assists the Business Bankers (within their scope of responsibility) with loan advances, disbursements, construction draws.

6. May assume some lending responsibilities for Business Bankers, in their absence, including attending closings as a representative of S&T Bank.

7. Provides consistent, superior quality customer service to both internal and external customers that meets or exceeds S&T Bank’s standards.

8. Performs other responsibilities related to the commercial lending process as required.

9. Maintains a good working relationship with bank employees in other departments. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn, the organization.

Physical Demands:

Operates a keypad device 80% of the day. Operates electronic equipment 80% of the day. The primary parts of the body involved in performing these tasks are the fingers, thumbs, hands, wrists and elbows. Standing is required one hour per day in a straight position. Sitting is required 6.5 hours per day in a straight position. Walking is required 30 minutes per day which is slow in speed. Requires the use of manual dexterity skills for typing, data entry, and filing on a frequent basis of 40% of the business day. Must be able to focus visually at a close distance of 18”-20” for computer work for a period of up to 40% of the business day.
