We offer Very Competitive Hourly Rates, ranging from $32.90 starting wage per hour including premium pay on Sundays.


  • Vacation will be awarded for Journeyman experience aligned with our vacation schedule in the contract.


  • Relocation bonus for anyone relocating 50 miles or greater.

You ONLY WORK 6 MONTHS OUT OF THE YEAR with our rotating 12-hour shift schedule.


  • 12-hour shifts (days/nights)

  • One 48-hour week and one 36-hour week each pay period

As a Maintenance Mechanic you will work as part of the Maintenance Department, responsible for maintaining equipment associated with the production, packaging and distribution of Kimberly Clark Products through preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance.

This Position Requires the Following Demonstrated Skills/Abilities:


  • Basic machine shop, welding and fabricating skills.

  • Work safely and protect the safety of others. Actively participate in a High-Performance Work Team environment, sharing knowledge and skills with all other team members.

  • Support the planning and execution of daily/weekly preventative maintenance activities including work and parts preparation. Actively participate in failure analysis and equipment/ systems troubleshooting.

  • Provide routine maintenance training to team members. Participate in cost effective decision making, identifying and maintaining critical spare parts inventory levels. Lead and execute repairs on high speed manufacturing equipment.

  • Actively participates in the design, implementation and upgrade of all reliability programs.

  • Set up and operate all types of mechanical tools which could include general machinist tools, alignment devices.

  • Read blue prints and related technical literature as required. Fabricate parts from blue prints and sketches.

  • Ability/willingness to learn Microsoft Windows-based computer systems and Kimberly Clark specific systems such as SAP, TALCM and DTR.

  • Proficiencies in the assembly, disassembly and installation of mechanical systems and components commonly found on high speed rotating equipment and safe execution of rigging and large equipment transportation.

The Following Qualifications are Needed to Get Started:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Applicants for this job must have completed a Mechanical/Electrician Apprenticeship program, or an Associate’s Degree or greater in a Mechanical/Electrical field, with a minimum of three (3) years experience, OR equivalent Military Education/Training, OR 7 years’ experience as a Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician in an industrial manufacturing environment.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Ability to maintain a work schedule of 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.

  • Ability to work at heights, in pits and confined spaces.

  • Understanding of predictive, preventative maintenance concepts and commitment to continuing education.

  • Successful candidates will have strong communication, leadership, self-motivation, problem solving, decision-making skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a willingness and commitment to work as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications Include:


  • Experience with high speed manufacturing and converting equipment.

  • Previous experience with computer managed maintenance systems such as SAP.
