Minimum Qualifications:


  • 18 years old  

  • Available to work a minimum of 15 hours a week

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Reliable Transportation

  • Submission of required documents upon hire: fingerprint clearance, negative drug screen, negative TB test, copy of driver’s license, High School/College Diploma or official transcripts, active automobile insurance and immunization records.

  • Ability to perform all physical requirements (see attached list)

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Completed at least one semester of college (Concentration in Psychology, Child Development, or Education preferred)

  • Experience working with young children with autism

  • Bilingual

  • CPR Training

  • Strong communication, behavior management, problem solving, and organizational skills

Physical Abilities Requirements:


  • Sitting in a child size chair, walking, standing, bending (neck & waist), squatting, climbing, kneeling, crawling, twisting (neck & waist), simple grasping (right & left hand), power grasping (right & left hand), fine manipulation (right & left hand), pushing and pulling (right & left hand), reaching (above & below shoulder level), perform physical restraints/holds during emergencies, lift up to 50 lbs – can be required up to 8 hours per shift.

COVID-19 Considerations and Precautions

  • Protective equipment required and provided (face covering, face shields, and goggles)

  • Social distancing in all settings (in-home and center-based)

  • Physical barriers where safe physical distancing is not possible.

  • Daily sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place with frequent off-hours deep cleanings

  • Virtual staff meetings

  • Remote interview process for new applicants and internal promotion opportunities.

  • Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccination
