The Information Technology System Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining IT Operations which may include staff, vendors, systems, applications, and other technical resources to ensure that users have access and use of IT systems and resources.  This position shall also assist and be responsible for identifying and implementing new solutions that increase or improve reliability and functionality of IT related systems and business processes.  This position reports to the VP of Information of Technology. 


The position will assist and work closely with Help Desk Technician and Sr. System Administrator in supporting over 430+ Office 365 account users in over 80 remote locations across the U.S.  including the Corporate Office.  This includes providing technical assistance at all levels, from networking, laptop deployment to Intune, Office 365, SharePoint, Azure system administration.  This position will be responsible for developing and managing Microsoft Intune, Azure Endpoint protection, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint online administration as well as cross training and overlapping administration duties with Help Desk Technician and Sr. System Administrator.  Additionally, the position will assist in supporting applications such as Docusign, Smartsheets, Netsuite, Salesforce, UKG (formerly Ultipro) as well as project tasks. The position requires a self-starter who is highly organized, detail-oriented and can problem solve issues complex in nature and work well in teams and individually.  Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be flexible enough to adjust to changing priorities on demand. 


 


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:



  • Microsoft Intune, Azure endpoint management (laptops, tablets, cell phones)

  • Endpoint software patching and configurations

  • Microsoft Teams and Sites administration

  • Microsoft Office 365 Sharepoint development & administration

  • Assist with end user training/education.

  • Assist Sr. System Admin with Azure, Networking & Business continuity administration.

  • Assist Help Desk as needed via email, calls, ticketing system, in person.

  • Develop and maintain KPI’s and metrics for IT

  • Support multiple web/cloud-based applications.

  • Work closely with other departments on developing and improving business processes.

  • Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:



  • Demonstrated proficiency managing Windows 10, Windows Server 2016, 2019, Remote Desktop services, Active Directory, Office 365, Azure administration, and user management.

  • Solid background in building, maintaining, and managing windows-based servers including Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft SharePoint

  • Solid technical knowledge in building and maintaining networks at all levels.

  • Exceptional multi-tasking skills: ability to adapt to changing priorities and timelines.

  • Self-motivated – propensity to take initiative and work independently.

  • Solid background and understanding in ITIL framework.

  • Problem solving issues that are complex in nature.

  • Exceptionally well-organized and detail-oriented

  • Teamwork and interpersonal communication proficiency

  • Flexibility/adaptability/reliability

  • Leadership and building teams.

  • Team player

  • Experience managing staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CIS, Information Systems, or similar technical education. At least 8-10 years overall IT experience and at least 5 years of experience working as IT/System Administration and supervisor role.   

  • Microsoft Certification AZ-500 (Azure security) and AZ-104 (Azure Administration) preferred.

  • Background in hospitality, food service industry preferred.

  • Ability to lift computer equipment up to 50lbs and bend/crawl to install computers and accessories as needed.  The successful candidate must be an enthusiastic self-starter with excellent organizational, multi-tasking skills and problem-solving abilities.  A high energy level and a positive attitude is a must.
