Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) is seeking a full-time Highway Project Manager for our growing New England Transportation Group. This group is based in our Wilmington, MA office, but candidates could potentially also work out of our Portsmouth, NH or Bedford, NH offices. We are looking for individuals that are ready to manage highway engineering projects, supervise engineers, and work collectively with a multi-discipline team of engineers in a dynamic office environment on interesting and challenging projects. Our New England projects involve varying types of roadway, bridge, intersection, and trail designs. GPI understands the significant responsibility we have as engineers to provide safe, practical, and context-sensitive transportation solutions to the many communities and clients we serve. Responsibilities:

Progressive experience in highway design for public agencies
Ability to take the primary supervisory role in the design and development of Plans, Specifications and Estimates for transportation projects under the oversight of the Director of Highway Engineering
Skills in supervising other engineers in the development of transportation design projects
Understanding of project contracts, schedules, budgets, and quality control
Experience in business development for transportation design projects
Experience with the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) and Massachusetts municipal clients

Qualifications:

At least 8 years of highway engineering experience required
BS in Civil Engineering required
Massachusetts PE license required
AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required and Bentley MicroStation / Inroads / OpenRoads experience is a plus
