Southwestern Healthcare is currently seeking a full-time Corporate Trainer to add to our team of professionals.  This position will be responsible for developing/coordinating training for all staff to assure consistent training and competency of all employees.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?


  • Ability to identify training gaps, plan, develop, implement, and monitor the training program for Southwestern staff in collaboration with management.

  • Develop familiarity of Southwestern business needs and ensure training plan aligns with Company priorities and initiatives as well as industry trends and best practices.

  • Reduce redundancies in training materials to ensure efficiency.

  • Facilitate or delegate facilitation of initial training for all new employees at time of hire as well as annual training, as required.

  • Partner with subject matter experts and facilitate train-the-trainer sessions to prepare other trainers for delivery.             

  • Develop creative methods of training delivery for both internal and external audiences for learners at all levels of the organization including, but not limited to, videos, e-learning, classroom presentations, simulations, etc.

  • Create training manuals and course materials; update as necessary.

  • Coordinate scheduling of training, track attendance, maintain required documentation for each training, and ensure adequate learning environment space.

  • Develop an evaluation process to measure program effectiveness and response to training.

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal laws, including HIPAA, as well as JACHO and specific grant requirements when training.

  • Maintain and ensure compliance with policies related to training requirements specific to Southwestern. 

WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Training and Development OR a minimum of four years’ experience in a similar role required.

  • Excellent time management, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Strong coaching and presentation skills.

  • Self-directed and capable of meeting job expectations without direct, daily oversight.

  • Professional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.

  • Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
