Job Description:

As a member of our product team, you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You'll join an inspiring and curious internally focused team dedicated to improving application design, development, testing and analytics that go into creating high quality software and new products. You'll be tasked with making product decisions and keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what's being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end user tool development, especially Agile frameworks, is key. Best of all, you'll be working with and sharing ideas, information, and innovation with our talented team of technologists and Commercial Real Estate professionals.

The User Tool Product Owner/ Developer will manage and develop multiple user tools, and shape the vision and plans for the future of business critical user tools. This person will be responsible for product execution, including: feature functionality requirements and design, coordination with key stakeholders, and general product oversight.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage the product roadmap and backlog, elicit and communicate new features and enhancements to stakeholders, coordinate the successful implementation of product releases, and support ongoing product use while focused on the business vision and strategy
  • Ideate, design, and develop user tools in partnership with key business stakeholders and adjacent product owners
  • Develop business requirements and user scenarios to build related tools and capabilities
  • Determine what should be delivered, clarify requests and prioritize requirements with an integrated view of the full user experience
  • Collaborate across product and business groups to drive prioritization and integration with key stakeholders
  • Deliver design recommendations with confidence and consideration for diverse stakeholders
  • Champion the user at each stage of the discovery, design, and development process
  • Ability to work under compressed timelines in a fast paced, dynamic environment that demands flexibility, high quality, and creativity

Required qualifications:

  • A successful candidate will demonstrate passion and skills aligned with product development and management, and extraordinary stakeholder engagement skills
  • Advanced Excel skills with proven ability to develop and refine complex macros using programming expertise (VBA or SQL)
  • Understanding of, and experience with Agile development SDLC
  • 3 + years' experience / proven track record as product analyst, data analyst, management consultant or user tool developer
  • Passion to understand workforce trends and changes, and determine what and how to incorporate into future designs
  • Strong blend of strategic thinking, problem solving, while acting as change agent to drive initiatives
  • Proven ability to manage programs end to end to deliver outcomes on time and with high user satisfaction
  • Highly consultative and collaborative and can marshal diverse views across businesses, regions and levels
  • Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Basic understanding of commercial real estate lending, banking, or financial services practices
