Job Description:

FULL TIME Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant in Manchester, NH

Villa Crest Nursing & Retirement Center is looking for a Fulltime Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant to join our working 11am-7pm., 5 days a week to include every other weekend. 

This person must be able to deal tactfully and effectively with patients, families, fellow employees and visitors.  The qualified applicant for this position must be able to be on feet 7-8 hours a day, lift heavy objects and work with standard cleaning chemicals.  Duties include:

• cleaning patient bathrooms


• emptying garbage cans


• cleaning patient rooms, hallways, walls, furniture and equipment 


• following established cleaning schedules


• other duties as assigned


• loading washers


• gathering dirty laundry


• folding/ storing laundry


• operating washing machines & dryers according to manufacturer's and center's policy 


• other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Must be able to read and understand Standard English
