What you will do

Plays a key role in accounting for the Company’s billion dollar lease portfolio.  In accordance with US GAAP and Company Policies & Procedures, prepares various financial reports and disclosures for shareholders, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and other governmental agencies and departments.  The position works closely with various departments, including Corporate Tax, Corporate Treasury and Corporate Consolidations along with business unit accounting teams. Good organizational skills, attention to detail and excellent communication skills are required. 

How you will do it


  • Ensures proper accounting and reporting for the Company’s leased assets, as follows:

    • Monitor the monthly lease load and processing procedures

    • Review lease accounting reports for accuracy and completeness

    • Design and ensure compliance with internal controls,

    • Oversee two staff accountants,

    • Proactively identify and resolve issues, and

    • Prepare lease disclosures for the Company’s quarterly and annual financial statements



  • Assists in the preparation of the Annual Report on Form 10-K and Quarterly Reports on Form 10-Q.

  • Assists in the preparation of various other financial statements and government surveys required for Irish Company reporting, including the Annual Report and standalone statutory financial statements.

  • Provides internal and external auditors with information required to perform annual audits and quarterly reviews.

  • Coordinates external reporting matters with various corporate departments and Business Unit personnel.

  • Designs, updates, implements and ensures proper documentation of internal control procedures in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley Section 404.

  • Ensures compliance with the Company's accounting policies & procedures and generally accepted accounting principles.

  • Prepares special reports and analyses, and assists with special projects as needed.

What we look for


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

  • Strong working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • Minimum three years of relevant experience.

  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and a drive to achieve both short and long term results.

  • Excellent teaming and communication skills.

  • Ability to meet firm deadlines.

  • Detail oriented and commitment to, and understanding of, the importance of accuracy.

  • Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks.

  • Knowledge of and experience with computerized financial systems, including personal computer systems, Excel, Windows and other mainframe or PC based general ledger and related software.  Experience with HFM desirable.

  • CPA certification preferred.
