Last 3 years clear driving record with no tickets or accidents.  Glass experience helpful, but not necessary. This position involves hauling glass shipments to local customers with company assigned straight truck; frequent unloading loose glass by hand and with suction cups. This is a physical job with manual handling of the product, must be able to lift and handle glass product up to 75lbs on a repetitive basis unassisted.  Must possess a valid Class B CDL license. A minimum of two years tractor and semi-trailer or a straight truck driving experience. Medical Examiners Certificate as required by DOT.

Must be able to complete log book requirements and all other assigned necessary paperwork currently electronically recorded. Must be able to read and interpret mathematical measurements of glass sizes and delivery schedules as well as effectively use a tape measure. Must be in compliance with all other DOT requirements. Excellent customer relations and people skills a must.

Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be able to lift up to 100 lbs unassisted.


• Read and speak English.


• Have a minimum of two years driving experience operating a straight truck or tractor and/or semi-trailer.


• Have a good driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents in last three years


• Have ability to obtain a Medical Examiners Certificate as required by DOT


• Be able to complete log book requirements and all other assigned necessary paperwork.


• Be able to lift and handle glass and metal product up to 75 lbs on a repetitive basis unassisted.


• Be able to read and interpret mathematical measurements of glass sizes and delivery schedules as well as effectively use a tape measure.


• Be in compliance with all other DOT Requirements.


• Be able to successfully complete drug and alcohol tests, criminal background and employment reference checks.


• Have positive attitude.
