Job Summary

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for coordinating and managing the day to day inventory operations. Experienced individual who assists the Logistics Manager with the development and implementation to drive continuous improvement of procedures and protocols in regard to proper inventory operations.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with continuous improvement of procedures and practices.
• Prepare inventory cycle counts/reports for all Business Units.
• Analyze and corrects inventory discrepancies and recommends and implements process improvements.
• Process/analyze defective material (MRB), Kanban, safety stocks, etc.
• Committed to following projects from start to completion.
• Oversee the pipeline of materials for manufacturing.
• Solve complex problems individually and quickly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to assure operational excellence.

Position Requirements:
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

Must have background that includes knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques
Working knowledge of inventory management
Experience working with Oracle a plus
Knowledge of raw materials and production scheduling
Knowledge of quality control programs, planning and organizing
Attention to detail, decision-making
Intelligent risk taker
Must have a Lean approach to problem solving
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient using Excel and other Microsoft programs.

Education / Experience

High School diploma, Associates Degree preferred.
3-4 years of previous experience in a manufacturing logistics coordination environment.

Physical Requirements

Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full use of the lower extremities and back muscles.
Crouching: Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
Standing: Particularly for sustained periods of time.
Fingering: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm as in handling.
Grasping: Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
Feeling: Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.
Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and make fine discriminations in sound.
Repetitive Motions: Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
