Job Description:
Summary
The Help Desk Representative – Correspondence Analyst is accountable for following written procedures to review and determine correct direction and results for complex Class Member inquiries that escalate beyond the Correspondence Analyst level.
Job Responsibilities
Field questions and inquiries from Correspondence Analysts and determine best course of action.
Assesses manual processing guidelines to understand the requirements that drive the quality of claims administration
Communicates with peers regarding work needed to achieve quality standards
Works with team members to balance workloads and monitor team priorities
Evaluate outstanding inquiries on a periodic basis to be sure inquiries are active and in process.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Communication: asks questions; confirms understanding with the audience; learns and adopts best practices for written word exchanges with claimants
Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, peers, and management through written and verbal communication
Ability to deal with varied and often difficult personalities
Leadership experience is preferred but not required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Critical Thinking: switches perspectives when considering solutions, to identify gaps and optimize results
Organization: tracks a variety of assignments by priority, and quickly switches between tasks #LI-DNI
