Position Summary
Looking for a Senior Operations Intelligence Analyst to be part of the Leviat NA Operations Team to capture, analyze, interpret and share data pertaining to the manufacturing operations as well as overall business position. The senior operations intelligence analyst will lead to the creation of several outputs, applications, and tools using diverse data sources and techniques related to trends and drivers impacting Leviat NA. As such, this person will be responsible for informing the organization of key issues and trends about the business.
Responsibilities
Design and build Statistical models using Machine learning based tools and techniques to correlate and forecast manufacturing performance
Responsible for the collection, preparation, and management of plant data resources, leveraging analytics and data preparation tools
Digitize and automate the collection of all manufacturing resources: public and proprietary, using tools such as Google big query, Alteryx, and Tableau prep
Design and create a cloud-based data warehouse with efficient ETL process to store in-house and market data to facilitate self–serve report generation across the organization
Develop and maintain enterprise-wide Tableau dashboards and MS-Excel reports that communicate the Operations Intelligence data, forecast, and insights
Conduct data analysis and develop business insights requested by Leviat employees
Plant-specific reviews: operations intelligence on the business as a whole, including sales trends, production efficiency, margin movement, and schedule attainment
Strategic product summaries/profiles: analysis of the current products to support strategic operations, supply chain, and commercial selections
Prepare and present research and insights to satisfy ad hoc requests
Support Performance Management by capturing, monitoring, synthesizing and sharing data, from internal and external sources, by creating and distributing business specific performance analysis.
Manage data search functionality within production and test Tableau servers.
Provide analytical support to monthly, quarterly and annual development forecasting reports
Continuously look for new data sources and interact with data vendors and providers as needed
Foster relationships with key internal players in sales, Finance, development, operations, etc.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
Excellent verbal/written communication skills and ability to do presentations
Strong analytical background with experience in Machine learning models knowledge, in addition to programming in SQL, R, Python
Extensive technical expertise in ETL Tools, RDBMS Data modeling, Data mining, analytics and visualizations with tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, Alteryx
Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Interpersonal Savvy with ability to relate well to all levels of people in and out of the organization including senior executives and other internal stakeholders; Builds appropriate rapport with diverse management team; Builds constructive and effective relationships.
Strong business acumen combined with fluency in topical news and economy
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Engineering or related field and a Master’s Degree is a plus
4+ years’ experience in an analytical, consulting or project management role
Experience building statistical models using Machine learning techniques and programming language such as SQL, R, Python, etc
Experience in setting up a Data warehouse in the cloud to integrate with data visualization tools such as Tableau (certification a plus), and other data analysis tools such as Alteryx, Tableau Prep, etc
Any relevant experience in the analytical / consulting role in building products/construction industry is a plus
