Product Manager, (Middle and Back-Office) Control Framework at State Street

What we are looking for

The State Street Alpha team is seeking a Product Manager - Control Framework - with strong business systems and data analysis skills for development and support of the State Street Core data ecosystem build.  The successful candidate must be skilled in complex business data analysis with expertise in functional requirements gathering and documentation; have excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; a proven ability to liaise between business/implementation and technology teams and display strong collaboration skills. This role is part of client implementation team.

About the State Street Alpha Platform

State Street Alpha platform in the front-to-back investment servicing platform for Institutional and Wealth Managers globally. State Street and Charles River Development share a common focus on helping clients achieve better investment outcomes. By combining our back-to-middle-office expertise with Charles

River Development's complementary front-office tools and solutions, we aim to provide clients with a comprehensive servicing platform across the investment process, supported by deep enterprise data management and transaction management capabilities. Out interoperable platform will also enable clients to integrate and align their preferred systems utilizing State Street provided data, as well as access to liquidity. insights and infrastructure.

What you will be responsible for

Component owner for back and Middle office data will be the keeper of roadmap, and time frames for delivery

Develop business requirements to bring data from Core State Street platform in a consistent, standard, repeatable fashion to build core data ecosystems. This includes bringing data, validating it and exposing it in a business ready fashion.

Work very closely with technology teams to develop the solution and make sure it meets the requirements.

Map the roadmap to client commitments and manage demand

Hold the line on data ecosystem being standard and not client specific

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

Four (4) year degree in a business or technical field such as Finance, Mathematical Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science. An advanced degree or industry certification such as the CFA is a strong plus.

Prior expertise with State Street system is a must have – MCH, RKS, OTC Hub, WSO etc.

10+ years of financial services experience is required.

Expertise in data modelling, business validation rules, data mart structure for info delivery is a required.

Experience developing business requirement, agile methodology, testing strategy is required.

Exposure to alternate asset systems is a big plus

SQL experience is required

Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management.

Ability to multitask and work under high pressure deadlines.

Ability to reprioritize quickly.
