Maintenance Technician - South Merdian YMCA at TREASURE VALLEY FAMILY YMCA

Job Description:

The South Meridian Branch of the Treasure Valley YMCA is unlike any other in the country. Our 60,000-square-foot facility is part of a unique collaboration that combines family recreation, education, sports, literacy, and wellness care on a single campus called "The Hill." Hand in hand with our partners--St. Luke's Health System, the West Ada School District, and the City of Meridian--the South Meridian Family Y will help us build A BETTER US.

Maintenance Technicians ensure Treasure Valley YMCA facilities are safe, clean, and well maintained. The Maintenance Technician will perform preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, electrical and swimming pool maintenance.

Key Qualifications:
Experience in custodial and maintenance of building and grounds including painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and general maintenance required. Must have and maintain current Idaho Driver's license and meet YMCA driving standards.

Physical Requirements:
Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs., operate custodial equipment, and climb a ladder. Must have ability to stand, bend, stoop, lean, and kneel for extended periods of time.

Schedule Requirements:
This is a full-time position with benefits. Typical schedule will include Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:00PM. Some flexibility is necessary as schedule will vary occasionally dependent upon association needs, and may include after-hour and weekend shifts.
