Commercial Bank is seeking talented candidates for a Business Ops Manager within our Commercial Real Estate business supporting the Business Architecture Team. The team is responsible for delivering highly quantitative and qualitative artifacts that align directly with transformative digital business initiatives.
Your primary responsibility as a Business Ops Manager will be designing conceptual business process that demonstrates the manner in which digital technology and existing business processes will integrate. This role will shape the future operating model through iterative design discussions with key business owners, product owners, program management, and senior stakeholders.
Job Role Description
Conceptually define business process across assigned digital initiatives; coincides with or accounts for useful technology as part of each digital release
Ensure the business has full representation, partnering closely with product owners as part of digital requirement gathering cycles
Analyze and solution complex information as part of defining business process
Coordinate discussions with key business stakeholders as part of gathering digital requirements; supporting product manager requirement needs
Participate in business testing events in effort to ensure key criteria have been met before release
Work with finance partners to ensure return on investment success criteria are identified for each release
Facilitate and archive discussions; including key decisions made with key legal, compliance, ops risk, stakeholder needed for business process or digital solutions
Provide thought leadership in delivering recommendations needed in order to advance all assigned efforts to successful completion
5+ years of operator experience, leading mid-to-large sizes teams (Servicing, On-boarding, Account Opening, Account Maintenance, Call Center, Lending, Treasury Products)
Track record of operationalizing process efficiency/optimization recommendations
Ability to understand strategic vision and translating to a conceptual execution plan
Flexible mindset, ability to change direction as needed in a fast moving environment
Prior experience with digital technology deployment strategies (agile, waterfall)
Team player and demonstrated work ethic - consistently demonstrates a high level of professionalism in behavior and performance
Effective prioritization skills to meet a complex set of business demands and demonstrate delivery against multiple objectives
Attention to detail a must with focus on executive quality presentation
Must be flexible and comfortable with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Able to manage multiple, high-priority deliverables simultaneously
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable speaking, presenting, and answering questions during large meetings and conference calls
Well-developed interpersonal, organizational, problem solving and project management skills
BS/BA required; advanced study a plus
10+ years professional work experience, with 3-4 years in a fast paced operations function
Strong technical writing with experience in delivering procedures, process flows, and technology business requirements
Advanced skills in MS Excel (pivot tables), Visio, SharePoint, and Power Point
