Job Description:

Overall Purpose:

Conducts end to end program management supporting the Enterprise Mobility 5G portfolio.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Directly project manages multiple large projects, or program manages a large portfolio of projects that are company-wide, cross functional and/or strategic in nature.
  • May also manage one or more portfolios which includes identifying, prioritizing, authorizing, managing, and controlling projects, programs and other related work to achieve strategic business objectives.
  • Leads cross functional teams to complete projects and program deliverables within allotted timeline and budget.
  • Defines project/program scope and objectives, documents and/or facilitates creation of business requirements, directs activities of project teams, and identifies resources.
  • Projects/programs are highly technical and very complex in nature, with project activities that are distinct for each new project, are company-wide, and require a high level of analysis to create project plans for new concept programs.
  • Work with external vendors and internal stakeholders to champion project/program(s) across the entire organization.
  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Conducts program meetings and is responsible for program tracking and analysis.
  • Ensure adherences to quality standards and reviews project/program deliverables.
  • Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
  • Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.
  • Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
  • Communicates to client/vendors/leadership.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • 8+ years related business project management experience
  • Experience in leading cross-functional projects and programs
  • Strong business acumen with solid IT and network exposure
  • Must understand and have knowledge of all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • End-to-end customer experience definition/strategy
  • Successful gap analysis experience
  • Proficiency of business tools i.e. MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Visio
  • Strong background in planning, implementing and managing change
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Experience in providing presentations to Senior Management
