Job Description:
The Strategy organization serves as the central planning group for the Infrastructure Data Center team. This group works across each data center team as well as several partner groups (HR, Communications, Recruiting, Learning & Development, Diversity & Inclusion) to lead business planning and manage strategic programs for the organization. Team members are strong problem solvers and collaborators, with a focus on driving impact and helping the organization scale. We are seeking an experienced manager to lead strategic cross-functional programs affecting multiple teams. The ideal candidate is someone who has managed people, built a team, and developed cross-functional relationships with cross-functional leaders. This is an internal facing role that will develop and scale programs that span the organization, while ensuring that all the stakeholders are involved and aligned throughout the process. This is a full-time position.

  • Lead a team of subject matter experts and program managers who can execute the team vision
  • Functionally align strategic business objectives and requirements in order to facilitate operational improvement initiatives
  • Develop the vision and drive strategic planning & roadmap development efforts
  • Lead overall planning for program management portfolio
  • Define detailed work plans and key metrics to ensure progress against goals
  • Manage program managers on special organization-related programs for the data center team (recruiting initiatives, talent programs, leadership initiatives, inclusive programs, etc.) with large-scale impact that span multiple global teams and business partners
  • Guide program managers by facilitating communication, coordination, planning, and execution across field & centrally located data center teams and business partners
  • Coordinate with key partners (HR, Communications, Recruiting, Learning & Development, Diversity & Inclusion, etc.) to create & support new programs and drive critical process development
  • Work with global teams to measure the impact of programs and ensure scalable solutions within a rapidly growing organization
  • Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to develop, implement, and optimize processes and tools that enable the data center teams to scale
  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships with leadership across the organization

  • 10+ years of professional experience in strategy, consulting, or business operations
  • 5+ years of professional experience building/leading a PMO team in a people/talent-related field
  • Bachelor's degree in business, psychology, operations, or equivalent experience
  • Experience executing complex strategic and operational initiatives
  • Demonstrated business acumen, problem solving, program management, and analytical skills
  • Experience thinking big-picture and systemically with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience building cross-functional relationships across an organization and leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience in evaluating, developing, and implementing operational improvements through automation and process redesign to enable scalability and velocity
  • Experience breaking down processes and identifying key pain points in order to deliver business improvements at local, regional, and global levels

  • MBA or Masters degree
  • PMP
  • Experience working in a growth company
  • Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
