Job Description 

The purpose of this position is to ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient daily execution of production activities and processes. This requires the general supervision and training of production technicians assigned to the production of electronic materials (Paste and Tape). These products are expected to meet all quality standards.

Essential Responsibilities: 

• Administer, promote and maintain a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with safe operation of equipment and processes by production personnel.


• Works with Production Manager to ensure the creation and execution of cost effective production schedules that meet customer requirements.


• Monitors to ensure that procedures, work instructions, and policies are in place and followed.


• Production control activities include accuracy of transactions, inventory/precious metal control and security, and variance investigation.


• Coordinates the root cause analysis, troubleshooting process and product issues, with all necessary technical and operational personnel.


• Assesses, plans and schedules training and development for production personnel to ensure an effective workforce which is flexible to business needs.


• Must be proficient in ISO procedures and compliance related to ISO, SOP documentation and SAP production.


• Motivates and develops staff. Promotes teamwork and demonstrates continuous improvement.


• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

• Direct, guide, and motivate the assigned Paste and Tape personnel and/or team.


• Responsible for the selection, training, promotion, and remuneration of assigned personnel and/or team.


• Conduct Performance Evaluations of the assigned personnel and/or team, with the aim of guiding to excellence in efficiency goals, providing resources, improving skills and/or providing professional development.
