Shipt is growing and we are searching for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will own the production environment and build tools that improve the observability of our microservice infrastructure. This is a team of highly technical generalists that are obsessed with improving the performance of our applications and making the user experience better for all our internal and external customers.

What You’ll Gain

Your Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and administrate real-time production monitoring, instrumentation and telemetry




• Collect and analyze metrics to drive quality and efficiency




• Fix problems at the root cause




• Pioneer and simplify operational processes




• Work with other software engineers to ensure Shipt systems are meeting reliability and performance standards
   

Requirements

• 4+ years supporting highly scalable, distributed web services




• Practical experience with a broad range of technologies - databases, version control, networking and cloud infrastructure




• Working experience with software development and reliability best practices
