Position Description:

The Healthcare Regional Manager (RM) at Rauland is responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration for each Distributor in their assigned territory. Through their activities (presentation support, distributor owner influence, sales personnel management and training, etc.) we improve our distributor’s competence –the ability to outsell our competitors—and coverage –the number of sales hours a distributor focuses on our product.

Accountabilities:

• Distributor Management—Lead the distribution channel and maximize dollar per bed in the region by: 1. Market strategy 2. Proper balance of competence and coverage 3. Best sales practices, CRM implementation, growth strategies 3. Sales competency with coaching, ride-alongs and training 4. Forecast accuracy.

• Direct Selling – Lead and oversee the sales process on key strategic sales opportunities within the region. Manage key customer presentations and solution center visits. Position new software / solution based offerings with a focus on value/ outcome-based selling. Understand clinical and IT workflow and be a trusted advisor to clinical and IT leaders including C-level decision-makers

• Territory Management – 1. Clear understanding of competitive landscape 2. Manage key partner/ vendor relationships for region 3. Deep understanding of regional acute care hospital market dynamics leading to accurate 30-60-90 sales forecasts

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) or equivalent in sales and sales management experience.

• Minimum of five years related sales or sales management experience in healthcare or capital system sales.

• Value/Outcome based selling, Recurring revenue models, Distributed leadership and team building, Presentation proficiency, Coaching and management.

Additional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Sales management with a distributor channel, software sales experience in Healthcare, Nurse Call sales experience.

• Ideally 10 years of proven sales and sales management experience.
