Global Security is a multifaceted, 24/7 operation accountable for the safety and security of all Prudential’s people, property and other assets. The department provides comprehensive, enterprise-wide solutions for employee security, asset protection, crisis management, executive protection, transportation & aviation, and access management.

Reporting to the Security Services Manager, you will be responsible for the following:


  • Assist with day to day operations of the Security Services team, which includes, but is not limited to, conducting regular meetings with site security staff to determine the physical security statuses of Prudential properties, while addressing issues and mitigating risk through gap-analysis and cost-effective corrective actions. 

  • Lead projects as assigned within the Global Security department on security-related issues to streamline processes and maximize efficiencies by leveraging new and existing technology solutions.

  • Revise, develop, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and post orders to ensure updates are reflected and effective compliance and governance processes are applied.

  • Review security incident and daily reports to ensure that actions are consistent with established procedures and align with awareness, training and strategic initiatives.

  • Work cross-functionally across all businesses to provide consultative assistance on security related issues, to include supporting vendor due diligence, governance and 3rd party background investigation programs.

  • Review physical security risk assessments for Prudential properties to determine adequacy of security controls; prepares reports with recommendations to address security control needs.

  • Develop and conduct, in partnership with colleagues, virtual and in-person security awareness and training sessions for associates as well as security personnel. 

  • Research physical security best practices and combine physical security assessment data to develop link analysis charts for depicting vulnerabilities and needs.

  • Manage metrics program for security services (must be proficient in Excel)

Qualifications:


  • Three plus years of relevant experience, preferably in a corporate environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree, a plus.

  • Proven project management experience

  • Excellent verbal and written skills. Willingness to take a writing assessment.

  • Knowledge of physical security best practices and standards.

  • Working knowledge of video platform, card access and other security products.

  • Experience performing physical security risk assessments

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Power BI, etc.)

  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
