Job Description:
The Clinical Research Assistant assists the research team in the implementation and conduct of clinical trails per federal, state and institutional guidelines by performing tasks delegated by research team members including investigators, managers and coordinators. Responsibilities during all phases of trials from prestudy implemen tation through study closure are included in the scope of this position.
The Warriors Research Institute (WRI) was founded in 2013 by Dr. Suzy Gulliver, Director and Chief. WRI's mission is to improve the quality of care available to military veterans and emergency responders via a program of scientific inquiry. We develop and disseminate new treatments for those suffering the sequelae of toxic or traumatic work events. In addition to providing and evaluating state-of-the-art experimental treatments, we train future generations of treatment providers in evolving evidence-based care. Responsibilities include: data entry/management; basic data analysis; literature searches; recruit, consent, and screen participants; coordinate research materials; create and maintain IRBs; write, review, and edit manuscripts and study protocols; assist in grant writing; create and submit posters, presentations, and manuscripts; participation in weekly staff meetings; other position appropriate duties as required.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in: psychology, a related social science, statistics, or neuroscience. Previous research experience preferred. Experience with SPSS or R preferred.
