The Packaging Services Specialist will own all account responsibility as it relates to customer supplied artwork projects including label review for print and regulatory compliance and timeline management to ensure the-on time launch of private-label packaging.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for labeling compliance review and pre-press management for your customers' artwork projects.
Collaborate with Regulatory, third-party design houses and printers to ensure artwork development milestones are met.
Execute all assigned tasks in Great Lakes Cheese's Webcenter system associated with assigned customer artwork projects.
Communicate regularly with Associate Manager of Packaging Services to ensure all project timelines are met.
Upload any final art PDFs into the Packaging Design Web Center for archiving.
Identify opportunities for improvements in Great Lakes Cheese's packaging process.
Travel up to 5%.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field from an accredited instiution. A High School Diploma and 5 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Minimum of 1 year in marketing, packaging design or related experience.
Must be legally authorized to work for a company in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Education and Experience
1 to 4 years of relevant experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve.
Ability to make sound, independent decisions.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong proofing skills will a high attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to negotiate and problem-solve.

Working Conditions
• Work is performed in an office setting.
• Occasional exposure to industrial operations including: temperature extremes from approximately 35°F to 100°F; noise levels in excess of 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery.
