HORNE, one of the largest accounting and consulting firms in the Southeast, is seeking a Senior Creative Lead who will help drive the HORNE’s overall brand voice and creative content for our clients – both internal and external. This role partners with the Director of Marketing, firm leaders and clients to meet creative, marketing, brand, and business objectives.
Core areas of responsibility include brand messaging and storytelling, which is applied to everything from campaigns to web and digital communications. The ideal candidate must be ready & able to bring ideas, provide strategic perspective, and help deliver on-brand creative work that maintains HORNE's brand vision and image.
The Senior Creative Lead job duties include, but are not limited to:
Understand our entire customer journey, inclusive of all experiences, regardless of channel. Bring informed storytelling and an approachable creative to every touchpoint, in collaboration with the greater team.
Create, develop and provide UX solutions for in-house and client websites. Attention to ADA accessibility and compliance will be important.
Distill abstract business concepts and client needs into refined, elegant creative solutions.
Pitch ideas confidently and present their creative vision clearly to clients, as well as communicate in the same manner to members of the creative team.
Ensure that all of the organization’s or client’s creative output/visuals are consistent with the overall brand.
Lead multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is required.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Ask smart questions, take risks, and champion new ideas.
Help develop strategic marketing plans that share HORNE’s story and support the firm’s business development efforts.
Collaborate effectively as a creative partner with internal teams, the Marketing team, and outside agencies/partners
Continuously promote and evolve the Brand Style Guide to drive brand consistency across channels
Share best practices and innovative creative solutions from the competitive landscape with a continuous pulse on current trends and noteworthy activities
Handle difficult situations with grace while under pressure
Set project deadlines and monitoring production schedules
Translate marketing goals into creative strategies
Ensure visual communication and client standards are met
Monitor the standard of output for each project
Meet with clients and stakeholders to discuss project progress
Translate client feedback and critiques into edits
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required
Minimum of 10 years of experience, with a focus on high quality design and content in premium consumer and web environments. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience creatively directing complex solutions for digital products and websites.
Minimum of 4 years of people management within creative or studio environments
Demonstrated expertise in a broad array of areas including multi-channel campaigns, digital and print advertising, web design and usability
Highly organized with good project management skills. Able to juggle multiple, and sometimes, conflicting priorities and needs
Excellent interpersonal skills to clearly and effectively communicate the creative vision, concepts, ideas, and solutions to stakeholders, internal teams, and clients.
Skilled in Adobe Suite, WordPress as well as Microsoft Suite. HubSpot knowledge a plus.
Self-driven personality able to work in a fast-moving, ever-changing cross-functional team environment. Proactive in nature and driven to act with a sense of urgency; able to work well under pressure and with demanding deadlines
Successful track record leading a team; able to delegate, coach, mentor and provide effective direction and feedback
Strong collaboration and influence skills; able to build effective relationships with stakeholders across organizational levels
Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and determine a creative vision that matches client briefs.
