We are currently searching for a Maintenance Crew Leader to join our Warrick Operations team in Newburgh, IN. As a Crew Leader, you will use skill and ambition to learn as you enter our Warrick Operation site; the definition of “teamwork” holds true here!

The primary objective of this role is to optimize equipment efficiency, throughput, quality and recovery using established equipment reliability practices. Working in conjunction with the Hot Mill, this Cold Mill Maintenance Crew Lead will demonstrate a strong electrical/mechanical maintenance background and the ability to lead the team to ensure the plant is operating at an efficient level.

Major activities include:


  • Serve as an on-shift resource to maintenance and production personnel, for guidance and troubleshooting.

  • Expedite problem solving to prevent process delays or re-establish product flow in an expeditious manner. Assist with maintenance performance issues, equipment performance issues, root cause analysis, training, and compliance issues.

  • Enter downtime events into tracking system with all details associated with event, and root cause identified.

  • Handle outages, LOTO procedures and complete work orders as needed.

  • Lead / Supervise Maintenance craft personnel.

  • Organize, track, and implement minor equipment/process improvement projects

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 3 years of industrial craft experience with 2 years of supervisory experience OR Engineering Degree with 1 year of industrial supervisory experience.

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

  • Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of mechanical or electrical craft.

  • HVAC, electrical utility background a plus

  • Ability to work independently
