This is an entry level position responsible for managing and completing assigned monthly audits. Audits assigned to a Premium Auditor I are less complex in nature. Auditor will be responsible for ensuring assigned audits are completed timely and accurately.
In this role, you will:
Audits assigned to Level I will be simple to average in complexity.
Use of company-issued laptop and or desktop PC in order to complete audits. Audits to be completed at auditor’s home-based office and or company office depending on the position.
Complete premium audits with direct oversight and training for an extended period.
Complete premium audits following company guidelines, applicable laws, and industry regulations to ensure accurate premiums are charged for the policy period exposure.
Communicate with policyholders throughout the premium audit process to obtain financial and other information required to complete the audit.
Communicate audit results to the policyholder at the conclusion of the audit. Discuss issues or problems found during the audit to ensure the policyholder completely understands any change in premium.
Assist policyholders with issues unrelated to the audit. This will include internal communication with other departments, as needed, to remedy policyholder issues. This will include both verbal and written communication.
Provide outstanding customer service when communicating with CompSource employees, agents or policyholders.
Manage an inventory of assigned audits in a timely and efficient manner.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred. Advanced education may be considered in lieu of experience.
1-2 years of professional level auditing or accounting experience
Other Requirements
This position requires the physical ability to perform extensive repetitive motions in using a computer and the routine use of other office equipment. Work is typically performed while sitting and does not require heavy lifting. Must be willing and able to perform all job-related travel.
