Project Engineer (Municipal)

Your Responsibilities

The successful candidate will represent OHM in our client’s cities and villages.  The candidate will become an extension of these communities by working internally across multiple disciplines to service our client’s needs. Additionally, the candidate will work with various organizations and the community’s leadership to develop future projects and work to obtain funding for these projects. The candidate will work to understand the needs and priorities of the communities they take care of.

What You Will Need to Succeed


  • The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience involving municipalities.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering Degree is a plus.

  • Registered as a Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio is a plus.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • The desire and ability to maintain strong client relationships.

  • The desire and ability to train junior engineers and interns.

  • Excellent organizational skills, and enjoys working in a team environment.

  • Experience in construction, planning, and service departments would be beneficial.
