CBC-Strategic Services: Organization Change Management (OCM) Practice Overview

Our OCM practice helps clients drive business and IT, strategies and implementations. We deploy fundamental OCM solutions (i.e., Change Strategies, Impact Assessments, Communication Strategies & Plans, Organizational Designs, Training Strategies, etc.) and are expanding solutions to drive Digital transformations (i.e., Social, Mobile, Analytics and Collaboration). We support all types of Business and IT Strategy transformations such as, Organizational Re-alignments, Digital Transformations, Business and IT Outsourcing, IT Package Implementations and Upgrades (i.e., SAP, Oracle, SalesForce.com, ServiceNow, and most industry leading practice packages), Organizational Design & Governance, Workforce Strategy & Planning, Mergers and Acquisitions, Target Operating Model Transformations, etc.

We currently service clients across Banking & Financial Services, Insurance, Health Care, Life Sciences, Retail, Consumer Products, Manufacturing & Logistics, Travel & Hospitality, and Technology. We service clients in the USA, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pac.

Job Description

We are looking for highly motivated, experienced, and ambitious professionals with a proven track record of engagement execution and leadership, who will bring to bear their skills, capabilities, and expertise to deliver significant change transformation to our clients and thought leadership to our practice. We want professionals that can deliver proven methods while constantly challenging how OCM can be improved as our clients’ core business and IT models change.

Change Management Consulting and Delivery:

We are interested in professionals with traditional change management skills and capabilities which include but are not limited to Change Management Strategy & Planning, Benefits Realization, Change Impact, Change Readiness, Stakeholder Engagement, Communications (Strategy, Planning and Implementation), Training (Strategy, Planning and Delivery Management), and Organizational Design.

Skills & Experience


  • Minimum of 3 to 10+ years of work experience (dependent on level role being pursued) at a Tier-1 consulting firm or within a Forbes Global 2000 company

  • Industry experience across any of the following: Banking & Financial Services, Insurance, Health Care, Life Sciences, Retail, Consumer Products, Manufacturing & Logistics, Travel & Hospitality and Technology

  • Strong working knowledge in the planning and implementation of some of the following change or transformation management activities: stakeholder analysis & engagement; communications strategy, planning and execution; program branding and promotion; key message development, change agent network, impact assessment, organization design & alignment, change readiness, end user training, and digital transformations

  • Experience with Business and IT Transformations

  • Management Consulting experience preferred; large in-house change or transformation management experience will be considered

  • Experience with business development activities for OCM and/or Business Transformation consulting services

  • Preferred MBA or Master’s Degree in OCM-related discipline as described above

  • Ability to lead or work on multiple, large, time-sensitive projects or work streams

  • Willingness to travel ~80% of the time

Senior Consultants are expected to understand standard OCM delivery frameworks, activities and tools. They are expected to quickly adapt defined methods and templates to deliver OCM solutions. Frequently they will be asked to help develop detailed delivery plans, but overall strategy and planning is typically assigned to managing consultants. A senior consultant can be an OCM track lead (i.e., Training Lead) on smaller or less complex engagements.
