The Operations Analyst is a vital support role for the Operations team. This role provides actionable data insights and analysis to the Operations team in collaboration with Informatics Reporting Team. This position is within the Operations Technology & Analytics team and supports operational improvement initiatives.

 Responsibilities:

• Interfaces with members of the Operations team to understand the challenges they are facing and what data insights are needed to help them formulate effective solutions


• Collaborates with Informatics Reporting team to automate manual reporting activities


• Track Operational (and Business) KPI’s and have the ability to understand why metrics are performing the way they are


• Conduct detailed analyses, including defining hypotheses in collaboration with business owners, testing, revising, and ultimately providing data-driven, evidenced recommendations to business owners


• Drive and support various business processes and provide updates to key stakeholders


• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in sophisticated data sets

Education

• Science, Engineering, or Business BS / BA required

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis role


• Highly skilled at Tableau, SQL and Excel


• High level of intellectual curiosity. Enjoys digging in on key questions and finding new ones to answer. Generates immense self-fulfillment from drawing key insights from data.


• Excellent communication skills, verbally and in documented formats. Able to present data insights in a comprehensive, concise, logical and easily digested format
