We are looking for an astute, determined professional like you to fulfill an Analyst Role within our Investment Risk Group. Your Impact:
 


  • Under the direction of senior investment risk staff and US transactions senior management, assist in the facilitation of the Global, US, and Latin America Investment Committees, the deal allocation process, portfolio reviews, the watch list process, global transaction activity reports for senior management and press releases, and strategic capital reporting. 

  • Work closely with the Global Chief Investment Risk Officer and the Americas Chief Underwriter to conduct detailed reviews and underwriting of bi-weekly investment committee submissions, including financial models and underlying deal assumptions. 

  • Responsible for tracking and documenting investment decisions and deal allocations and production of the deal allocation report.

  • Create and maintain a database of key investment assumptions across major property types and portfolios. Systematically analyze, monitor and compare underwriting to actual investment performance.

  • Assist in the production of PGIM Strategic Capital reporting.

  • Assist in the creation of specific agendas and questions for each PGIM portfolio as part of the semi-annual portfolio review process.

  • Support Global Chief Investment Risk Officer and Regional Chief Underwriters (Americas, Europe, & Asia) with various initiatives such as ESG initiatives.

  • Support process implementation and documentation/reporting of the Watch List for all PGIM Real Estate funds, globally.

  • Working with the regional transactions teams, assist in the maintenance of the Property Deals Database for the US and Latin America in order to capture the status of all acquisitions and dispositions in the regions.  Work with the technology team to identify and resolve potential issues and to further develop system functionality. 

  • Assist in the fulfillment of requests from internal and external clients. Work closely with key stakeholders including: Portfolio Management, Asset Management, Transactions, Finance, Research and Systems to support PGIM Real Estate’s Investment Risk Management group.

  • Serve as Secretary for the Global, U.S. and Latin American Investment Committees.

  • As needed, assist on special projects, including investment restructuring or other mitigation measures. 

 

Your Required Skills:
 


  • Bachelor's degree required, Finance or Real Estate strongly preferred.

  • Understanding of basic real estate terms and concepts such as net leases, gross leases, contracts, rents, percentage rents, operating expenses, capital expenditures, recovery of expenses, property types

  • Understanding of basic finance concepts such as NOI returns, cash flow returns, internal rate of return, present value/discounted cash flow.

  • Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical ability.

  • Strong written communication skills required.

  • Computer proficiency with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. 
    Strong interpersonal/communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Your Desired Skills:


  • Knowledge of Argus is a plus.

  • An ideal candidate would have at least one to two years of work experience in a related field.
