Job Description:

The Junior Carpenter is responsible for assisting with various types of woodworking and carpentry projects. Team member who is organized, motivated, and enthusiastic about safety, quality, and creativity of the team and supports building the electric aviation infrastructure. Beta is a fast-paced company; all jobs have a sense of urgency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


    • Basic carpentry tasks

    • Use, maintenance, and cleaning of woodshop and tools

    • Willingness to learn how to read plans, diagrams, blueprints

    • Willingness to learn how to accurately measure and cut materials

    • High energy, self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented

Requirements


    • 1 or more years of carpentry or woodworking experience.

    • Basic knowledge of woodworking principles.

    • Self-starter that is well organized, disciplined, team player

    • Good team communication skills required. Google G -Suite including drive, mail, calendar, docs, sheets, slides, charts, hangouts; slack, application lifecycle

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. However, in some instances this job may require work in areas where ear protection is necessary.
