Position Overview
This position is a managerial role on the Corporate Accounting team, with a leadership role in the internal and external financial reporting processes. This position will be heavily relied upon to manage and coordinate central accounting functions including the close process, cash flow analysis and SEC filings.
You are responsible for
Leader in the close process, including liaising with the controllers of our international operations
Coordinate and prepare the quarterly and year-end internal and external financial reports for quarterly earnings releases, 10-Qs, 10-Ks and proxy.
Responsible for determining the proper accounting and financial reporting impact of certain corporate transactions, including but not limited to, share-based compensation, corporate acquisitions and dispositions, financing and capital transactions, and corporate benefit programs.
Review and approve various journal entries and account reconciliations.
Assist in accounting research for new issues and transactions.
Assist management decision making in various capacities, including but not limited to, EPS forecasts, competitor analysis, forecasts of share-based compensation, calculation and presentation of non-GAAP financial metrics and modeling of various corporate initiatives and transactions.
Ensure that appropriate evidential support is maintained to support all disclosures in the Company's SEC filings and other financial reports.
Supports annual audits and quarterly reviews. Manages communications with external auditors.
Promotes the continuous development of a high-performing team capable of meeting the company's current and future financial and accounting goals.
Other duties as assigned, to adequately support the Company's mission and objectives.
Qualifications
BS degree in accounting or finance or related major/business administration with concentration in accounting is required.
A minimum of 5 years of public multi-national company accounting experience, with increasing levels of responsibility
Experience with SEC reporting and internal controls
Exceptional communication, organization, change management and time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and successfully execute tactics.
Must be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
Proven self-starter who sets aggressive plans and consistently meets the challenge.
Proven ability to motivate, inspire and instill accountability.
Demonstrated business acumen and a sound understanding of business fundamentals.
Preferred Qualifications
Active CPA preferred
Big Four public accounting experience preferred
Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP preferred
