We are looking for a Manager, Field Design and Construction to work 40+ hours per week in our Elmwood Park location.

Position Summary:

The Manager, Field Design and Construction plans, directs, coordinates, and supports activities of Remote Lab Operations and Phlebotomy Operations inclusive of general maintenance, repairs, installation of equipment and various construction projects nationally.  This individual will assist the department Director in project planning and scheduling of multiple projects while ensuring compliance with quality standards, schedules, & budgets.

Position Responsibilities:

Duties may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

• Must possess project management skills including design, construction, and budget management.
• Oversee the PSC Help desk that provides direct support to Patient Service Centers (PSC)
• Ability to field measure and assess new sites for potential PSC’s ensuring compliance to local building codes and DOH standards. 
• Possess ability to compose accurate floor plans with dimensions and all relevant details. 
• Ability and willingness to travel nationally in support of remote labs and phlebotomy operations

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferably in Construction Management, Engineering/Architecture, or Facilities Management
• 10+ years’ experience working in a commercial construction environment, Healthcare preferred
• Experience in procuring trade contractors in remote locations and manage effectively
• Technical skills and the ability to use design and project management software
• Possess ability to work alone or in team environment. 
• Organizing and time management
• Problem solving skills and creative thinking
• Valid Driver’s license with a clean MVR
• Travel required; a minimum of 50% of the time.
