Job Description:


SVB Marketing is looking for a dynamic, seasoned marketing professional who has extensive experience developing strategic, creative and highly effective multi-media B2B marketing initiatives. You are cross-skilled across brand, customer experience design, content, media, and channels.

As the Integrated Marketing Strategy Sr. Manager you will be responsible for interfacing with the business and gathering appropriate customer insights and data points to create and produce many types of marketing plans that effectively set objectives, identify appropriate target audiences, develop positioning strategies, and meet or exceed KPIs for demand generation and beyond.

You will work across a team of marketing strategists who will partner Performance Marketing teams (i.e. Channel, Content, Marketing Operations, Marketing Technology and Marketing Analytics) along with agencies to develop client-centric market strategies, with the goal of finding innovative, efficient and effective ways to acquire new client and deepen existing client relationships.

Responsibilities​


  • Set clear objectives, identify targets client segment, define market positioning and marketing programs supporting awareness/engagement/demand gen strategies across a wide range of content and channels and across the client lifecycle.
  • Gather, analyze and apply relevant customer insights and data to help define effective and innovative strategic marketing approaches.
  • Build and implement strategies that provide the most advantageous opportunity to gain significant and valid recognition by our audiences and the industry.
  • Leveraging your deep cross-channel knowledge, lead the development of a wide range of 360- integrated marketing plans, including communication and engagement strategies across social, digital, human and emerging channels.
  • In collaboration with Marketing Analytics, create and own goals and performance metrics for initiatives/campaigns; monitor regularly to understand effectiveness of strategy and creative, making recommendations for continuous improvement to ensure brand consistency and overall success.
  • Build and manage highly positive relationships and work effectively with a wide range of business unit leaders, performance marketing teams, sales and service teams, corporate communications, and industry influencers.

People Management


  • In collaboration with Head of Integrated Marketing Strategy, jointly set people performance measurement goals with each direct report and provide ongoing performance feedback 

Strategy Development


  • Responsible for advising the business on how marketing efforts can support the achievement of shared business goals, which includes accountability across
  • Development of key strategic choices in marketing plans to achieve business objectives, including budget and capacity required
  • Annual/quarterly marketing plan reviews to ensure continual iteration and optimization of campaigns
  • Collaborate towards strategy/vision development with other segment/product/sector/geo leads along with corporate and marketing partners to drive strategic objectives
  • Responsible for the development of segment or sector (or mix) client value proposition(s)
  • Responsible for defining specific strategic sector segments and formulating a targeting strategy for the segments
  • Responsible for developing Account based Marketing strategies and plans, in collaboration with Performance Marketing team

Initiative Execution


  • Responsible for initiative/campaign plans and briefs, developed in collaboration with Performance Marketing and business partners, that are aligned to overarching go-to-market strategies, marketing plans, and annual goals / priorities
  • Support team focus on lifecycle marketing including demand generation and engagement/retention strategies

Measurement/Optimization


  • Responsible for defining overarching initiative KPIs and those related to how marketing efforts impact demand generation and retention in conjunction with Marketing Analytics
  • Evolve and optimize marketing strategies, driven by data and insights, in partnership with Performance Marketing teams and corporate functions

  • 15 years of related corporate marketing experience with a minimum of 5 years directly managing an integrated marketing team.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute large-scale digital strategies, including increasing conversions that drive revenue growth and an advanced understanding of the digital technology landscape
  • Strategic mindset, ability to tell a great story, and the ability to draw key insights from analytics to make key business decisions.
  • Strong facilitation and influencing skills are necessary to drive and lead cross-functional initiatives and to be effective in a distributed and fast-moving environment.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Global enterprise software/B2B marketing experience required.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, influencer, and leadership skills

  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels of an organization, work cross teams and drive results across external and internal constituents
  • Strong understanding of the digital B2B marketing technology landscape and best practices
  • Strong team leadership skills. and exceptional written and presentation communication skills.
