Then we have the right opportunity—we are looking for an Enterprise Data Architect within HPE IT’s Enterprise Architecture team to join us! In this exciting role you will lead the data architecture within Data and Analytics team in enterprise architecture supporting the Global IT and other business groups. There are four primary areas of responsibilities:

A professional at this position, works with the business users and technologists, analyses systems, and gathers how data is used in them. Designs information flows from source systems to the data lake, implements data governance and catalog, uses data to develop new algorithms and models to provide insight to internal business groups and develops for external customer as well. Researches, designs, develops, configures, integrates, tests, and maintains existing and new data models, data and analytical solutions including Machine Learning algorithms and visualizations through integration of technical and business requirements. Provides required documentation and participates in architecture reviews to ensure that the solutions comply with standards and use approved technologies. Typical customers are HP Enterprise's end users and various functional areas such as Supply Chain, Research and Development, Marketing, Finance, a business, or the company.

Responsibilities:

• Participates as a senior member of solution architecture; and may lead project/ program development team; Performs analysis of functional and business requirements, develops user stories, and designs solutions


• Analyzes and documents business workflows required to source the data and generate, and implement analytics


• Performs hands-on development of minimum viable products using open source technologies, and commercial big data products


• Performs data cleaning, and feature engineering


• Coordinates work with data stewards, and participates in the build of data catalog


• Works with business and system teams to design, prepare and automate test cases. 

Education and Experience Required: Technical Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years related experience, or a Master's degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience with being solution leader for data lake and data warehouse


• Hands-on development including Hadoop, Python or Scala, and SQL


• Experience in few of the following domains: supply chain, sales, customer master data, product master data, sales, marketing and growth, and finance


• Expertise in combining data and science to bring business outcomes


• Knowledge of container, orchestration, and CI / CD based development


• Understanding of Software Test methodologies, and testing tools


• Project Management.


• Customer/ Vendor Management
