Our Consumer & Community Banking division serves our Chase customers through a range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing. Consumer and Business Banking Technology Finance & Business Management supports the CBC Technology leadership team, leading the following objectives: Financial Tracking and Reporting, Requisition Management, Vendor Management, Resource Forecasting, Cost Saves Initiatives, Department Budgeting, Reporting, and Ad Hoc Requests.

The department is in need of a Finance and Business Management Lead. This position is responsible for working across the team developing and generating reports and presentations, tracking operations initiatives, and working with support partners of the organization (Accounting, finance, quality assurance, project management, Vendor Management, etc.) to improve and drive business decisions. This position will be key in driving cost saves and ensuring adequate controls and efficiencies exist with vendor partners.

Key responsibilities include:


  • Develop long-term budgets & forecasts and track financial performance
  • Support all financial processes and reporting including actuals, budget, forecast of various financial and headcount metrics and scenarios/views including general ledger, program/project, taxonomy, product, application, allocations and business case financials
  • Define and maintain key metrics and performance indicators measuring efficiency, including workforce, vendor and infrastructure strategy
  • Prepare analysis and presentation materials for key senior management forums
  • Define and track the 'total cost of ownership', allowing robust discussion of expense levers to improve technology cost structure
  • Collaborate closely with business, technology, and finance partners across JPMC
  • Evaluate and implement forecast and process improvements
  • Own competitive analysis across key peers and industry leaders
  • Facilitate CTO-level, proactive monitoring of headcount, budget, financials to highlight variances and reforecast plans to stay on target
  • Partner with business finance teams for book of work and ad hoc analysis and requests
  • Foster productive teamwork, establishing open and trusting relationships, creating a climate where people are committed to sharing information

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • 5+ years professional experience in financial planning, financial analysis.
  • Previous experience in a finance / planning role in banking, technology or financial services strongly preferred
  • Strong work ethic, proactive and results-orientated, fact based approach
  • Excellent quantitative and analytic problem solving skills; superior analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to synthesize large amounts of data, summarize key concepts and articulate relevant issues to senior management
  • Strong technical skills Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PitchPro); proven track record of partnering with other subject matter experts to deliver holistic insights
  • Self-starter who is driven to excel in all aspects of their role, Strong personal management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple (and changing) project deliverables at same time
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels and influence key stakeholders
  • Exposure to IT development/software development lifecycle a plus
  • Must be able to design business reporting and analysis that is clear, concise and actionable
  • Demonstrated history of independently and proactively driving initiatives forward
  • Experience with Business applications (Tableau)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy - proven ability to produce quality results timely
