OBJECTIVE:


The Recruiting Specialist works with a team of recruiters to provide recruiting expertise with an emphasis on the support of the Administrative, Contracts, Workforce Development teams with some support toward the Sales & Operations Divisions within Goodwill of Colorado.


These four divisions consist of approximately 3000 varied positions such as:  Caregivers (C.N.A.’s,/ LPN’s/RN’s, P.C.P.’s, Case Managers, etc.)  Passenger Van Drivers, Maintenance, Laundry Assemblers, Instructors, Custodial, Retail, Accounting, Payroll, I.T., Risk, MarComm, and Human Resources.


QUALIFICATIONS:


EDUCATION:  High school diploma or equivalent required.  Bachelor degree preferred.  PHR or other certification preferred


EXPERIENCE:  


• Minimum of 3 years recruiting experience within the realm of Federal Contracts (Service Contract Act/Davis Bacon)


• A minimum of 3 years recruiting/human resources experience working with Affirmative Action Plans, OFCCP, EEOC, ADA


• Minimum of 1 year utilizing an on-line HRIS/Applicant Tracking System (ATS); UltiPro HRIS/Recruiting software a plus


• Experience recruiting in healthcare and/or janitorial a plus


SPECIAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:


• Strong computer skills:  working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).


• Strong communication and customer service skills.


• Excellent organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to follow through 


• Ability to multi-task


• Ability to work with changing priorities


KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:


• Understand and comply with the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) measures and guidelines and stay up to date on legal requirements.


• Understand Affirmative Action compliance and maintain accurate documentation with job descriptions, job postings, applications, interview notes, and job offers through the applicant tracking system (ATS).


• Generate applicant interest by accurately communicating job duties, pay, benefits and work environment.  Guide interested people on how to apply online or how to receive assistance in the application process.


• Input data and maintain the Applicant Tracking System.  Ensure work is checked for accuracy and completeness. Follow internet applicant protocol for documenting recruiting data, record the disposition of applicants, run reports related to our Affirmative Action Plans.


• May search for passive candidates through various online avenues including job boards and social media


• Maintain strict confidentiality in all sensitive matters and with all compensation information.  This includes confidentiality of personal information of applicants and employees and results from pre and post-employment screens, assessments, references and tests.


• Advise the Human Resources Director of significant events or situations that could negatively affect the company.


• Communicate effectively with applicants, job candidates and hiring managers.


• May research/Implement strategies to reach / advertise jobs to our target talent pool.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES


• Assist on Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) recruiting compliance and recordkeeping.


• Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) 


• Partner with Learning and Development to coach hiring managers on best interviewing/hiring practices


• Post open job requisitions, gather and record interview feedback on candidates,


• Assist in generating offer letters, ensure appropriate backgrounds, drug screens, etc. are performed in a timely manner.  Coordinate new hire start date with candidate and hiring manager.


• Coordinate communication with applicants and job candidates who we have interviewed, but were not selected for the role.  Ensure a positive applicant and job candidate experience with our company.


• Communicate with potential applicants to trouble-shoot challenges in the online application process using the ATS.


• Support workforce diversity goals by engaging in recruitment strategies to attract qualified women, minorities, veterans, and individuals with disabilities.


• Accommodate applicants with special needs to promote consideration of those with disabilities and disadvantages.  This may include scan or manual entry of resume, cover letter and application into the ATS.


• Conduct periodic self-audit reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of data in the ATS.


• Ensure smooth transition from job candidate to employee; coordinate timely efforts to get required equipment, space and in-processing/new employee orientation for the new hire.


• Provide training and coaching to hiring managers on the recruitment process.  Many managers do not hire often and they appreciate an overview of what to expect and when.
