We are looking for a Head of Relationship Management to lead the team that is in charge of managing ang growing relationships with our partners and clients. As a member of our leadership team, you will report to the Head of the US Strategic Partnerships Group. You will play a key role in defining our Relationship Management strategy, cultivating relationships with key executive stakeholders across strategic partners- while also executing upon expansion & deepening opportunities that drive meaningful revenue growth for the company.

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive North American partnerships strategy that delivers operational excellence through robust governance and internally aligned rules of engagement for client coverage. This role will require significant thought leadership and the proven ability to align stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
  • Manage the team of relationship management (RM) professionals to drive meaningful revenue opportunities across the existing customer base. Monitor productivity and assess skill level of RM and BD teams, coaching and managing performance to deliver a high-performing team.
  • Set KPIs to align with business objectives, and monitor portfolio performance-- tracking critical metrics and instituting oversight and engagement necessary to achieve portfolio growth.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to champion initiatives that enable portfolio performance, including but not limited to: finance, marketing, operations, controls, product, analytics and more.
  • Play active role in shaping and negotiating complex & strategic contract negotiations and renewals-- leveraging communication skills to achieve favorable outcomes in win-win negotiations
  • Create value for our clients by influencing product & solutions strategy.
  • Serve as senior escalation point of contact for clients, prospects, and internal departments.
  • Know business processes end-to-end, owning governance strategy and day to day execution

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience managing a team of top performing contributors in a Fintech or SaaS environment
  • Demonstrated track record of success in meeting and exceeding financial targets
  • Results driven thought leader with strong business acumen and ability to work well under pressure to deliver results; highly self-motivated
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels
  • Strong people manager, coach, and mentor, who can guide the team in developing consultative account management and sales skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive interpersonal relationships; strong relationship skills; high EQ; and a long term, team-oriented mindset
  • Proven experience in strong collaboration with marketing, finance, product, servicing/operations, and bank channel partners to develop winning strategies that enhance the customer value proposition and result in growth.
  • Significant experience in pipeline management and successful execution against significant revenue targets involving large and complex customers
  • A strong knowledge of payment processes and the financial services industry is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of and experience working with POS software development and value-added resellers is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal contexts with honed ability to adapt to the audience-executive, technical, finance, etc.
  • Proven ability to develop strategic presentations, leveraging data and analytics.
  • Proficient at Windows based Office Suite to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
