Weekend Day Shift, Friday - Monday, 6:00am - 4:00pm

As the Dangerous Goods Analyst, you will be responsible for managing processes and systems that directly ensure dangerous goods are stored and shipped in accordance with local, regional and international regulations. You’ll also act as a liaison to sites with any dangerous goods issues. What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Conduct dangerous goods training for employees using various delivery methods and formats

  • Support site-level dangerous goods training as needed

  • Provide project support for large compliance initiatives

  • Maintain and update the associated corporate training program materials

  • Update and maintain the training records in the company database

  • Collaborate with the Global Manager of Dangerous Goods on related research and initiatives

  • Monitor Federal and State regulations for upcoming changes

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent related work or military experience

  • 1 year of experience with the implementation of dangerous goods regulations

  • Experience with and understanding of all applicable dangerous goods regulations (49CFR, IMDG, IATA, TDG)

  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Experience delivering training programs through various methods and media

  • Experience working independently or in a team environment with the capacity to motivate and inspire team members

  • Strong organizational skills, including being thorough and detail-oriented, while maintaining a high degree of ethical integrity
