Develops and maintains production schedules for the manufacture of product, and includes material delivery scheduling, sub-contract services and buyer activities. Coordinate schedule to insure efficient use of resources.
Requirements Summary:
Develop manufacturing schedules:
- Utilize MRP and other planning tools to determine product demand; - Develop and maintain the manufacturing plan; and - Buy and/or schedule delivery of raw materials to support manufacturing.
Manage inventory levels of finished goods and raw materials to establish limits.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. Minimum of two years experience/training in a related field.
Communication / Mathematical / Computer Skills:
Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to accurately apply basic math and algebra concepts. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (i.e., Excel, Word, Access), proficient typing skills are preferred.
