Job Description:

*Description* * Prepare all invoices charging expenses to the appropriate accounts and job costs * Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc. * Maintaining historical records by keeping a digital and hard copy filing system. * Paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing expense checks * Paying vendors by scheduling checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquirers regarding finance * Tracking fixed assets and recording depreciation according to depreciation schedules provided * Bank account reconciliations to include entering deposits and withdrawals, coding entries accordingly, reviewing outstanding checks * Credit Card reconciliations to include entering transactions, coding entries accordingly
* Bachelors degree in accounting or related field preferred * 3+ years full-charge accounting experience to include preparation of financial statements * Proficient in Yardi and Microsoft Office (3+ years minimum experience) * Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment * Highly organized and detail-oriented * Able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Thrives in a collaborative, team player office environment Ranked leading general builders in the US this construction property company is seeking a permanent team-oriented Bookkeeper to come to join their collaborative and fun team!
