The VP, Learning and Cultural Enrichment (VPLCE) is focused on the vision and strategy as well as the efficiency and effectiveness of employee learning. The planning, management, and delivery of this learning is the heart of Ent University (EU) and the VPLCE will continue to guide the development and refinement of this innovative learning program.
The VPLCE oversees three critical areas that drive fulfillment of EU:
The VPLCE sets the vision of Learning Innovation based on the strategic goals of the organization and knowledge of emerging trends / best practices. This individual acts as the decision maker on build or buy curriculum to fill identified gaps. The VPLCE is expected to build and maintain strong vendor partnerships with organizations that have developed quality learning and development courses, workshops, and schools.
The VPLCE sets the strategic vision and delivery expectations of the Instruction: planning, creating, and delivering in house trainings. Courses built in-house are created per Ent’s culture, learning philosophies and corporate strategies. An important facet of these courses is the relentless pursuit of feedback so they can be modified and updated as needed. Meticulous attention is placed on the course applicability and their creative design and delivery that succeed in helping staff develop as individuals and team members.
The VPLCE sets the vision and champions collaboration between the Learning Innovation and Instructional Design teams. This collaboration is imperative as design innovation, along with easy accessibility of course offerings and delivery channel options, foster employee engagement. Cross-functionally, these efforts also must be closely aligned to enable development and delivery of culture enrichment programs that affect multiple facets of the entire Development area of Ent.
Finally, the VPLCE drives the vision and execution of a robust staff career planning apparatus which involves assessments, mentoring, and specific career progression initiatives. Key in this role is managing the many facets of helping staff develop in their current position/department, transitioning to other departments, or even developing into further leadership roles.
Collaboration with business units, Instructional Design / Delivery, and Learning Innovation is key to the execution of coaching and mentor training for all leaders. New leaders learning to effectively coach staff and tenured leaders enhancing existing coaching skills with industry best practices is of paramount importance to help staff achieve their career dreams. Assessment tools are continually monitored and evaluated to determine their effectiveness in assisting leaders understand strengths and competencies of their staff.

Minimum formal education required for this position:
Knowledge consistent with Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Design, Business Administration, Communication or other related field of study.
Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of “Knowledge Consistent with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 2+ years’ of accounting experience” could be substituted for a High School Diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a Master’s Degree in Accounting and 0 years of work experience.
Minimum work experience:
10+ years’ combined experience with educational programming design, delivery, career counseling or related general education experience to include at least 5 years curriculum design and delivery specific experience.
5+ years’ supervisory experience.
(Preferred) 10+ years’ educational design and delivery experience related to adult learning in a corporate setting.

Salary range for this position: $141,481.80 - $212,243.20 (This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus based upon performance)
