Role Purpose:

Must be a strong, decisive, results orientated leader who can develop and manage relationships across the Company with a wide variety or individuals/disciplines based on trust, teamwork, technical and business knowledge.

Major Responsibilities and Activities

• Strong presence in ideation and advance development project selection for complete system level products


• Advanced benchmarking & VA/VE to support our efforts in New Product Development.


• Customer technical presentations supporting commercialization of new technology.


• Developing technical relationships with our Japanese OE customers.


• Supporting global technical collaboration on new product/processes with JV partners.


• Develop and promote innovative ideas aligned with the Company’s Strategic Objectives and Functional area. 


• Provide technical support as needed with new product launches. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical Engineering degree with a minimum of 20 years of experience in business & technical capacity in automotive


• Strong network within the technical groups in major OEM & Tier1 customers base


• Understand the technology trend in the automotive seating and interiors


• Strong entrepreneurship


• Innovative & creative approach to problem solving


• Strong technical aptitude


• Strong leadership skills


• Good oral, written and interpersonal skills


• Ability to travel
