What you'll do
As a Senior Program Manager for Product Development, you'll work side-by-side with our passionate Product, Engineering and Design teams to deliver new features and functionality that meet the needs of our Enterprise customers.
You'll partner with our cross-functional Enterprise Solutions teams, including Product, Sales, Professional Services and Tech Alliances, to drive forward solutions to our most pressing customer needs, through a combination of product investments, professional services and technical partnerships. You will be the glue that holds it all together, ensuring that cross-functional collaboration runs smoothly from end to end. This role offers a global reach; expect to work with your peers across EMEA, APAC and AMER.
A world-class team
Your manager, Debbie, will be there to provide guidance, feedback, and support. We're not into micromanagement -- enjoy the autonomy to plan your own week and independence in your work. Debbie will help you explore career growth options and paint a picture of what success can look like for you at Zendesk. She loves cooking and hiking; you don't need to have the same interests, but we want to know what interests you!
This role is an in-office position. When things get back to normal, we would love to see you in the office at least twice a week (and you'd be welcome to come in more frequently). If more flexibility is important to you, we are open to discussing this during the hiring process.
What you need to succeed
We believe that experience at a software company driving cross-functional programs to solve complex business problems is the most important ingredient for a successful Program Manager in this role. You have a proven track record of driving several large-scale, complex programs. You are able to distill complex, multi-faceted topics into an organized, structured approach and mobilize the right people to execute. You are a great facilitator and able to build bridges between teams and people, and you communicate status clearly, concisely, and accurately. You anticipate areas of risk and determine ways to mitigate them, and you think it's fun! You get your kicks by seeing programs you drive run smoothly and efficiently and ultimately meet the needs of the business.
That said, if your experience looks different from what we've identified and you think you can excel in the role, we'd love to learn more about you.
