Position Summary:The inventory control analyst is responsible for the processing, monitoring, and analyzing; and giving accurate reporting of an organization's inventory level with a focus on minimizing costs, while maintaining product availability at the right amount and supply needed.
Develop and maintain supplier and internal customer relationships.
Apply creativity to solve problems.
Coordinate efforts with all appropriate departments and personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
Ensure that the highest level of customer service and ethical behavior are followed.
Address and resolve all customer requests with a positive approach.
Maintaining and improving the company's inventory situation by analyzing inventory statistics to determine which products are selling and which are not.
Collaborate with finance and operations teams to compare forecast versus actual performance and communicate progress, risks, and impacts to annual inventory goals.
Assist in planning and report on the progress of inventory right-sizing initiatives.
Develop performance metrics and reporting tools, and establish ad-hoc reporting to enhance inventory management efficiency
Performing extensive research on a wide range of inventory-related reports, from previous inventory reports to purchasing trends.
Manage service level minimums and order point parameters.
Draft inventory reports that document cycle counts, discrepancies, and other statistical data.
Identify and analyze returns and dead stock
Report inventory statistics to management and suggest improvements to inventory control (i.e. Unusual forecast, lead times, low margin, lost sales analysis, etc.).
Analyze and report on logistics and freight optimization opportunities.
Collaborating to resolve inventory discrepancies.
Create and maintain inventory databases and systems for accurately managing inventory.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Accounting or a related field, or equivalent and a of minimum (2) years inventory or equivalent analyst experience, preferably in the industry.
Detail oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
Must be able to perform basic math functions, as well as understand and apply more complex calculations.
Advanced computer skills including use of MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook), with a willingness to learn new software programs. Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 a plus.
Must be able to work with a wide variety of people and personalities.
$70,000 - $90,000/Yearly Salary. Commensurate with skills and experience.
