Overview
The Banking Operations Specialist is responsible completing day to day banking operation functions which include but are not limited to mobile bank deposits, chargeback returns, Reg CC holds and notifications, FRB adjustments, bank to bank adjustments. Provide support to the New Haven Banking Operations group as needed. Hours may vary to accommodate daily volumes.
Responsibilities
Complete daily activities related to operations as assigned
Ensure all transactions are handled correctly and efficiently
Resolve any issues immediately and through the proper channels
Must be able to handle multiple tasks daily and meet deadline
Collaborate with the team to obtain root problem causes regarding operational issues
Provide top notch customer service to other departments throughout the company
Provide back up for tasks when necessary
Qualifications
Dependable and organized
Banking Experience preferred
Knowledge of banking regulations
Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize
Good written and oral communications skills
Demonstrated organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to acquire new skills efficiently, and to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
Enjoys challenges and has the ability to adapt in a fast-paced and changing environment
