Job Summary

The University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center is looking to hire a DevOps Engineer to help modernize the testing, staging, and release process of critical cancer informatics software applications.

Relevant skills and experience include:

o Linux and open source software background experience
o Interest in improving software development operations and build/release engineering
o Knowledge and experience supporting and modernizing legacy, monolithic software applications
o Familiarity with automated test frameworks, modern container technologies, and script automation

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Java, MySQL, PHP , C, Javascript, Linux Shell scripts, Ant, cross-platform development.

Preferred Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree plus two or more years related experience preferred.
